On Monday, June 8th, the Democrats on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee proposed the INVEST in America Act. The bill would be for 5 years and inject $494 Billion into infrastructure and transit.
The bill’s short term goal is to inject capital into cities hurt by COVID-19 while long term plans are to combat climate change and reduce overall carbon emissions.
